The construction for the Mulford Library started in 1970 and the building opened
in 1973. Named for Toledo industrialist and civic leader Raymon H. Mulford. --Winner
of several architectural awards because of its creative marriage of glass and
concrete. The building is connected to Block Health Science and Health Education
buildings by glass enclosed walkways and to University Medical Center by tunnel.
Library building houses The Raymon H. Mulford Library as well as the Computer
Learning Resource Center (CLRC). The Library building also houses many of the
College offices, including the following:

- Admissions and Registrar offices
- Financial Aid offices
- Office of Multicultural Affairs
- College of Medicine Administration
- College of Graduate Studies Administration
- Student affairs
- Office of Communications
- Affirmative Action
