The University of Toledo's Department of Public Health & Homeland Security offers four courses that can be taken as continuing education. The registration fee for continuing education is $625 (subject to change) per course. Current course offerings include:
Public Health Statistics (Fall 2007)
Meets Thursdays 5:00 - 8:50 p.m. 8/23, 9/6, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 12/6
Hazardous Materials and Emergency Response (Fall 2007)
Meets Saturdays 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 11/3, 11/17, 12/8

The Continuing Education program is for students that desire to augment their existing education and training via academic courses, but who do not wish to take a course for credit.
Classes are typically offered during evenings and weekends to accommodate working professionals. Evening courses meet just once per week for 15 week semesters, and weekend courses meet on alternating weeks for eight Saturdays per semester.
