DNP NURSE FACULTY

FUNDED NURSE RESEARCHER

Faculty and advisors are student oriented; Technology is campus wide: classrooms are state-of-the art media equipped; faculty and staff have new computers; students use Academic Intranet to access web-based course material and WebCT for secure online discussion; student computer labs are located in every building and we have a multi-purpose nursing simulation lab.

Faculty enjoy private offices adjacent to parking areas; buildings are connected by tunnels and glass walkways. A fitness center and hotel are on-campus. Faculty Senate has representation from all departments.

UT serves as the academic health center for a twenty-county region of Northwest Ohio. The Colleges of Nursing, Health Science and Human Service, Medicine, Pharmacy and the College of Graduate Studies are dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the region. College of Nursing clinical affiliation contracts are in place with over 150 agencies; regional hospitals host clinical placements and provide student employment opportunities.

The Toledo Museum of Art, Toledo Zoo and Toledo Symphony Orchestra are world famous. Toledo is home to the Mud Hens (baseball) and competitive University teams; the Metropark system includes urban as well as rural recreation, nature, and historic sites. Toledo is a major port city of the Great Lakes and is a focus of economic development for the United States. You can boat on Lake Erie and enjoy a broad array of ethnic dining in the Toledo metropolitan area.
